'Floral Ornaments: Crafting Luxury Textiles' investigates the concept of ‘sustainable luxury’ through the lens of textile design, working to address the disconnect developed to garments as a result of consumerism. Floral motifs are used as a stimulus to develop value attachments towards the textiles and garments, reimagining the traditional use of florals in textile design. Floral motifs act as an archetype, manipulated by photography, print design, rug tufting, woven surfaces and patchwork.
