'Escape / Dystopia' is a collection set against a background of a dystopian world inspired by a dream. In that dream, I was a little kid with a superpower to turn imagination into reality. However, a secret origination found and kidnaped me, making me work for them every day along with other kids with superpowers. The dream is about how I ran away from that depressed life, trying to return to my own freedom. The key message of this collection is not negative; it is about courage, peace and never giving up. The collection plays with tension to explore compression and release through textile manipulation and knitting.
