'Farewell, My Paradise!' is an erasure aesthetic, challenging notions of ethnic dress and uniform through sportswear. Referring to ubiquitous, utilitarian dress reinforced by ethnic stereotypes, the collection explores cultural erasure through the dress that has consumed it. As a result, it creates a depiction of Ramirez's Filipino heritage, one where western colonisation and globalisation have rendered ethnic dress meaningless and superficial.
