'Lumen' is an emotional response told through design. Using repetition of distorted print and form, the collection creates a narrative that seeks escapism; an alternate reality with fleeting and indeterminate motifs. The designer plays upon her experience of coping with an invisible illness by intersecting nostalgic fantasies with contemporary forms of dress; reclaiming the naïvety of holding on to ideal perceptions.
