The 2020 3 Series Capsule Collection explores the emerging concept of fashioned sportswear. A hybrid, between classic sportswear archetypes, focusing on silhouette, paneling and finishes, combined with, the handcrafted appliqué of smocking, ruching and layering with transparent materials. A key technique that has informed this collection is sublimation dying. This style of transfer printing, gave the ability to manipulate colours, that mimicked that of watercolour paintings. The grid template used offered a foundation for the smocking process, which has been highlighted in 3 core colour-ways.
