‘Here’ is a collection embedded in speculation and innovation. It combines concepts of new and old, familiar and unfamiliar, conventional and unconventional, through materials such as worn cotton sheets, avocado pips, found thread and bio-materials. The collection explores a careful and considered approach to design in artefacts that create sensory experiences, through sight, sound, touch and smell. In an expression of transparency, circularity, and curiosity, ‘Here’ encourages active engagement in both process and product, with a focus on mindful production in an industry of mindless consumption.
