Ruoyu Wang is an RMIT Master of Fashion (Design) student and enjoys experimenting with unconventional materials and techniques to find balance through clashing. Following her Bachelor degree in Fashion Design (Honours) at RMIT, with a graduate collection that was selected for the Melbourne Fashion Week student runway as well as ID Dunedin Emerging Designer Award, Ruoyu aims to translate design concepts through innovative forms, that put an emphasis on textile design. Her Masters collection explores the relationship between material, scale and fit, through the concept of nostalgic childhood memories.
